This affordable Warlock guitar has dual humbuckers, all chrome hardware, and the popular Warlock body design...
The BC Rich Warlock is a thoroughly wicked-looking electric guitar that has been conjuring musical magic for over thirty years. First introduced to this realm in the early 1980s, the Warlock’s sinister vibe, impeccable workmanship and killer tones especially enchanted the heavy metal and hair band guitarists of the day, as well as legions of players who were simply looking for a well-built axe with plenty of attitude. With high-profile rockers like Lita Ford and Mötley Crüe’s Mick Mars and Nikki Sixx wielding Warlocks, and KISSer Paul Stanley’s broken-mirror-topped model reflecting the tastes of the time, the Warlock put a spell on the guitar-buying public that continues to this day, with a wide range of enchanting axes available, including 6- and 7-string models, 4- and 5-string basses, and signature instruments from notable sound sorcerers like Kerry King of Slayer and Joey Jordison, guitarist of Murderdolls and drummer for Slipknot. The BC Rich company was an early pioneer of neck-through guitar designs, as opposed to the glued, or “set” necks common to Gibson guitars, or Fender’s typical bolt-on models. With neck-through construction, as the name implies, the neck runs from the headstock all the way through the body to butt end of the instrument, where the strap button is typically located. All the major tone generating and sustaining elements of the guitar are mounted to it, from the tuning pegs and fingerboard to the pickups and the bridge, making it an integral element of the overall sound of the guitar, and resulting in a much more resonant instrument with enhanced sustain. Another benefit of neck-through construction is a much thinner, smoother “heel” where the neck meets the body, with better access to the upper frets than is typical of glued- or bolt-neck axes. Because this is a more expensive construction technique, it is generally reserved for the more high-end instruments in the BC Rich line, like the Pro X Warlock Shadow, a bewitchingly alluring bit of magic with a sleek, black mahogany body and a maple neck with 24-fret ebony fingerboard; nicely complemented with gold hardware, including TonePros Tune-O-Matic-style bridge; and loaded with a pair of powerful EMG humbucking pickups, for maximum sonic carnage. The NJ Deluxe Warlock sports full pearl binding, and features a Floyd Rose Original whammy/tremolo system for spellbinding divebombing tricks and effects. The NT Warlock offers incredible value in a neck-through design, with a pair of positively possessed Duncan-designed humbuckers, and a push-pull coil tap for a huge variety of tones. And before you close your eyes forever, make sure you check out the LIta Ford Signature Warlock, an onyx-black beauty with Red Widow graphic, Kahler Hybrid tremolo, and a pair of venomous Seymour Duncan humbuckers for truly lethal tone. For rockers without a charmed wallet, BC Rich offers several more affordable musical talismans to embody their spiritual vibrations, including the Bronze Series Warlock, a no-nonsense shredder with agathis body and bolt-on maple neck, a wraparound bridge/tailpiece, and dual BDSM pickups for painfully sensuous sounds. Or check out the Kerry King-approved Metal Master and Wartribe 1 Warlocks, with tribal-tat style graphics and warrior-worthy tone. Whatever sonic spells you desire to cast, there’s a BC Rich Warlock to help you. Conjure yours today!
