Comments about Alfred Beginning Cubase 5 (DVD):
I received my copy of Cubase le 5 with my Zoom h4n recorder. I'm not familiar with any DAW software.I was hoping tha this DVD would point in the right direction.
This DVD did not spend very much time discussing cubase. Spent way to much time discussing gear that can be used with Cubase. It was produced on an apple computer platform, therefore the cubase computer screen shots were blurred and did not show up very well on my new pc or dvd player. The video portion was crystal clear but only showed the back of their heads most of the time. The video portion didn't do much to advance the instructional value of the DVD. It only cluttered up the screen and was not needed in my opinion. The read me file suggested that I download QuickTime 7 to clear up the blurred screen. It was a very minor improvement. My pc runs Windows 7 and exceeds the video requirements needed to run by Cubase. This purchase was a complete waste of money.
