Decent Overview, but Lacks Editting Quality

Comments about Alfred Home Recording Basics Book:

This was the first book I read on home recording. It was valuable as a brief introduction, but I would certainly not recommend this as a reference book. It presented only the very basic concepts in a plain enough way as not to be intimidating. The quality of the book's editing was not quite up to par, though. in the edition I purchased, there were a few references to figures or appendices that didn't exist. Overall, not the best, but not the worst either; it is probably most valuable to only the greenest of beginners.
