Release Date:04/15/2016;Notes:Limited 180 gram vinyl LP pressing. Man is the third solo album by Swedish singer Neneh Cherry, released in 1996. The first single, "7 Seconds" was released two years earlier and was a duet with Youssou N'Dour. Cherry was nominated for a Grammy in 1994 for the duet. Cherry was born as Neneh Karlsson in Stockholm, the daughter of Monica "Moki" Karlsson, a Swedish painter and textile artist, and the musician Ahmadu Jah. Cherry's mother married the influential American jazz musician Don Cherry, who helped raise Cherry since birth. Cherry took her stepfather's surname. Before her solo career, she had been involved with many experimental/post-punk acts including The Slits, New Age Steppers, Rip Rig + Panic, and Float Up CP.;Track List:1. Woman;2. Feel It;3.
