It isn't worth it. The visual guide is completely uninformative and this guy is selling you a dream. Throughout the DVD he even tells you his technique is worthless because he frequently points out that mixing is an art that solely depends on your own preferences. He doesn't show you that many tricks (if any) on how to make your mix more clean and clear. He just bores you with dull skits and a child-like visual of a mixing realm, a realm in which nobody but himself probably understands. Don't waste three hours of your precious time on this earth for this confusing nonsense.
I had bought this DVD with expectation that I would "...learn the right way to create every style of mix for any style of music.", this thing confounds the definition of "educational"! Unless you like the "Sesame Street" or better still, "Dumb & Dumber" still of instruction; do not waste your hard earned money on this product!I am further disappointed that the name of "Hal Leonard" would even be associated with this piece of trash.
