The bread-and-butter of acoustic playing covered in 50 hands-on lessons.
The Guitar Lab DVD series employs a hands-on approach that allows students to play their way through the curriculum, rather than struggle through tedious theory and exercises. Features PIP (picture-in-picture) video, standard notation, guitar tab, power tab files, practice rhythm tracks, and bonus material.
Top educator Rich Maloof presents 50 acoustic licks covering a broad range of crucial acoustic techniques you must know. While a single-note line (a lick) is certainly fair game here, the bread-and-butter of acoustic playing is covered in 50 lessons that demonstrate: fingerpicking patterns, open-string voicings, changes with bass lines, alternate tunings, Brit-pop strums, left-hand mutes, double-stops, funk patterns, alternating bass, movable chord-shapes, advanced voicings with open strings, barre chords concepts, Travis-picking, descending bass lines, hammer-ons and pull-offs, alternate chord voicings, harmonics, and many of the techniques that define the styles of the acoustic masters.
Add these 50 licks to your acoustic arsenal and you'll have the insight and chops to deliver the perfect mood and texture for any tune, from acoustic power-chords to delicate fingerstyle work.
Guitar Lab's innovative learning systems employ a hands-on approach where students play their way through the curriculum using learning tools such as PIP video, practice rhythm tracks, and interactive tab and notation, which allows the student to play along with the tab and notation, at any tempo, without a change in pitch.
Gain the insight and chops to deliver the perfect mood and texture for any acoustic tune when you order this DVD today.

Comments about eMedia 50 Acoustic Guitar Licks You Must Know! (DVD):
My wife ordered me a guitar DVD from MusiciansFriend and it arrived all smashed up and in pieces. A replacement was ordered and yes, you guessed it: it arrived all broken up as well. They shipped both out in a flimsy plastic bag during the height of the Christmas delivery rush instead of simply placing it in a box to protect it from damage. I am so discouraged with them.
