Not what I was looking for

    By Wormwood-WeTli

Comments about eMedia Guitar Basics CD-ROM:

I am very new to the whole guitar thing, and thought that this looked to be as good as any for a beginner that is looking to try to learn to play the guitar. The software starts out with some pretty good instruction, but as soon as the examples start they really lost me. If this software was from the 1930?s it might be a little better, but the examples are old obscure folk songs, that most of I have never heard. It makes it hard to practice a song on the guitar that you first have to learn the song. It would be a great deal more helpful to me if the songs were ones that I was a little more familiar with.
