Comments about Hal Leonard 12-Bar Blues Book/CD:

See features; nuff said
I am an old drummer with guitar envey.
So in my later years I have decided to go ahead and learn how to play this beast.
I have been at it for a couple of years now and this little book has helped more than
most others I have (I have a lot).
I don't really use the CD's in these books, but just play out via the tabs.
Everything in this book is fairly easy to play, and it progresses into techniques like bending, hammer ons and offs, Etc. that really make playing a lot of fun and gets to the bottom of what blues is all about.
This book also has one of the best explanations of TAB notation I have ever come across, and is shown on the actual 6 line (guitar) staff which is two pages long at the back of the book. It is not your normal 'h' for hammer on, 'p' for pull off stuff, but the actual markings you need to understand when they show up on the staff.
