Comments about Hal Leonard A Jazzy Christmas - Alto Sax Play-Along Book/CD:

The arrangements, background and recordings are great. I got this for my middle schooler and except for the riffs, he can play the songs and sound good without much practice. However, it feels to me like the riffs are a few steps in difficulty above the rest of the music. I expect at least 60% of the work will be spent on the riffs (even though the riffs are only about 20% of the music. Can't wait for book 2.
