This book contains a number of Paisley's more well-known tracks--all of which have vocals--as well as two instrumental tracks, "The Nervous Breakdown" and "Time Warp." If you're looking to learn some of Paisley's best licks, this book can only help you.Do note that, if you want the standard notation and tab for Paisley's mainly instrumental album PLAY, there is a book that contains all of the songs to that one album. This particular book, 'Best of Brad Paisley," only contains songs from the Paisley albums leading up to PLAY (from 1999's WHO NEEDS PICTURES to 2007's 5TH GEAR).Anyway, if you want to learn some of those fast Paisley licks but you don't have any way to slow the songs down, this book can help you. Then again, it can also be a big help to those of you who have a way to slow songs down without changing the pitch. Either way, 'Best of Brad Paisley' might just help you get on your way to playing like Paisley. Do keep in mind, however, that many of Paisley's songs contain relatively difficult lead guitar parts. If you are a beginner, you may still find some good use for this book such as learning new licks.

I recently received a copy of this Brad Paisley songbook and I find it very useful.The song choice is great, though it does lack songs from Paisley's latest album, PLAY, which contains some of his best guitar work. Other than that, it's a truly great book.In all truth, I have not one complaint about this book...other than the fact that there are no songs from PLAY which is understandable--I believe the book came out before that album.Anyway, if you want to learn some of Paisley's best country licks, you'll want this book!
