This book offers an overall comprehensive introduction into Drum set recording. It starts with the drummers mindset, to preparing your drumset, to the room you will play in, mic selection and placement, compression/limiting/gating/EQ, and how to get along with the engineer. Most of it is fairly general, with the emphasis placed how you will prepare and play your drums in the studio. Does not tesch or instruct you on how to mix, use effects, or master, rather basic information. A great read if your going into the studio for the first time, or recording at home.
