Comments about Hal Leonard Jumpin' Jim's '60s Uke-In Tab Songbook:

I bought this book for my girlfriend who is learning to play the ukulele and has been having problems finding songs to learn. The selection of songs in here is incredible! I was excited to find 'I will (Beatles)' and 'Sitting on the dock of the Bay (Otis Redding)' among a pile of great songs. Some ukulele books I've seen are pretty sketchy, but if you are a fan of good old 60's rock, then you will love this book.

psychedelic hippie ukulele fun

Comments about Hal Leonard Jumpin' Jim's '60s Uke-In Tab Songbook:

Some very good arrangements of a lot of 60's songs. It is surprising how easily the Beatles songs translate to ukulele, and how good they sound (although I suspect this has a lot to do with Beloff's arrangements). This is a great book to pick up simply because you will stretch your chord vocabulary while learning tunes you are probably very familiar with. And let's face it, people don't expect ukulele versions of some of these songs, so the "What the..." value of this when you pull out the uke and start doing "Sunshine Superman" is priceless. I like it a lot.

Comments about Hal Leonard Jumpin' Jim's '60s Uke-In Tab Songbook:

Lots of fun for sightreading and trips down memory lane. The authors should consider expanding this volume. So much more good material is out there from the 1960s.
