If you are a serious drummer (or any instrument)

Comments about Hal Leonard Polyrhythms - The Musician's Guide Book/CD Pack:

This is the best study on this subject ever written. Just learn a little of the concept and you are way ahead of the curve from musicians that know nothing about it. Polyrhythms and polymeters are not new and they work in all styles of music but most importantly it is the process of learning them (it's fun!) that just make you a better musician. It opens the brain in a different way than just learning everything in 4/4 (or 3/4 or 5/4) or any other combinations that keep you locked up!
