Comments about Hal Leonard Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble Live at Carnegie Hall Guitar Tab Book:

You need to know SRV if your going to learn from this book. I am by know means an expert. I play for fun and hobby, but I like to play it right. I will review the pride and joy song sense that is what I am on. There are notes on there which are not played, Also it says the strings are open, while the strings are hit open they are quickly muted with the hand to give it that shuffle. The tab does not show this. While you can figure it out, if you are starting out on Stevie Like I once was its not so easy. I wish there was a book out there that was produced and verified by the artist. So i knew it was 100%. I think this book is better than most or all tab on the internet, but you need to know your stuff. You have to play the song over and over again with the tab to see what is there and what is not, but it will give you an idea. That is good because i have no hope of picking it part by ear from i tunes. The song is probably 75% true Just so you know. I think 75% earns a good rating. SRV is not easy to pick out.
