This book does have good songs but they're not whole songs. What's the point of that then? Don't buy this book, it's a waste of money.

This book features the main riffs and some complete solos from a good selection of songs from the debut album to Heaven and Hell. The songs are well chosen, and there is an included CD played by a session band with no vocals so the guitar is up front of the mix. All featured guitar parts are played at normal speed with the band and then at slow speed by itself. This book is a good introduction to Black Sabbath as well as hard rock guitar itself, but it is maddeningly incomplete. Many of the songs teach the main riffs (and occasionally the solos) but not the transition riffs that Iommi is so fond of. It's frustrating when you only know 75% of a song. Still it is an excellent value.
