Comments about Hal Leonard The Latin Real Book - C Version:
This book is too much for me. I'm not a serious latin player. I just wanted a fake book with melody leads and chords thinking it would include a lot of well known tunes. This book is for an experienced latin player who wants a lot more than that. I think I know enough to say that it is well done for what it is. But it isn't what I was looking for. It has a lot of melody, bass, and written out harmony sections. It looks like a piano transcription of latin jazz band charts. In other words, it's a lot more detailed than a typical fake book.
