This guy knows how to play flamenco but does not teach it. Half of the first DVD is spent explaining flamenco terminology. The remainder is devoted to two full speed songs with no explanations. This is a very poorly done instructional DVD. Shame on Homespun, they should know better.

I like this DVD. It is a good teacher, but not particularily for begginners. The music is more for the advanced player, though Aaron does show you how everything is done. But since I have only gone through books, it was nice to actually SEE someone playing and showing you the techneaques...I am still enjoying it!

Will get you playing Flamenco in no time!!

Comments about Homespun Learn to Play Flamenco Guitar 2-Video Set (DVD):

I am a drummer my self, but recently branched into guitar and specifically flamenco. I have always been around guitars and my hands got comfortable playing them. This is the first time I take it seriously. With this DVD I learned Tangos first and wow what a feeling to be able to play flamenco that fast.The DVD is very useful and his method of instruction is simple and easy to follow. I recommend this DVD to any aspiring flamenco guitarist. Some musical experience with guitar is necessary. It is not for beginners.
