I have the Rockhouse Method rock and roll dvd's and have really learned a lot from them. I also have this dvd on blues. I will be buying the level 2 also. The only downsides I can say about this dvd is that on one example where he is showing you a blues lead, the camera turns away to another angle right in the middle of the example. That was distracting to me. However, you have tablature in the book for it and should be able to put it all together. The rock and roll dvd didn't do that. The other thing is that the instructor does encourage you to develop your own style, which is great, but he will play an improvasation really good and I wish there was a tablature written for some of that. He is a really great guitar player but I just feel he should give you some of the tab to the stuff he plays. Other than that, it's great. The backing tracks are helpful and their website is great.
I have seen this video and is awesome. It got e playing blues in half an hour at the most. I truly recomend it. Just have in mind is for begginers, so if you already play you should consider buying level 2. Anyway, I have played before but not blues and level 1 was very useful for me. You wont regret it.
