Comments about Hudson Music Turn It Up and Lay It Down - Double Pedal Metal By Steve Kilgallon Book/CD Set:
If you love metal/death metal...like me, then I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in learning to play bouble bass. I'm 38 yrs old, and have been playing for about 6 months now. This book has really helped me to do so. It's great for beginners like me, and might help more advanced players as well? The cd it comes with helps you play with other instruments. It's like having a band to practice with whenever you want! I started off taking lessons from an instructor, but found this book to be more helpful, and more about how I wanted to play. It cost me about the same price for what one lesson would have cost. I learned more from the first few pages than 3 lessons from an instructor. For me it was worth it. I've been at it for about 6 months now and can play about 3/4 of the lessons in it. Steve Kilgallon is now an inspiration for me. Try it, you will love it!
