Oh my god, I love this cd! It's been nearly 2 years since Hatecrew Deathroll and I(being a enormoulsy huge fan of CoB) have been alittle cranky not hearing new material. Alexi Laiho's guitar work is incredible on the title track and their covers and videos are amazing. I highly recommend this cd to all CoB fans and to anyone wanting to hear something incredible.
This singles album is one of the best c.o.b. albums that I have heard. The new material from these guys is a little heavier than what the other cds have been and is it good. alexi "wildchild" laiho is doing a great thing for metal guitar along with other bands like arch enemy, dark tranquility, and other heavy metal artists. this band is great. if your looking for a heavy metal style with a classical and melodic sound that will leave you thisty for more, c.o.b. is the band for you. BUY THIS ALBUM!!!
C.O.B. is one of the best metal bands around. They are not the most technical band out there, but are by far one of the most melodic. The guitar work is Amazing, the drums are incredible, everything is perfect.
Children of Bodom are nothing short of breathtaking. In a world drowning in mainstream/pop amateurity its very hard to come by a group of musicians actually striving to be the best that they can be, while incorperating it into their music. If you find any simple four chord progression in a Bodom song its sure to have some massive, face melting, shred lead to accompany it. Despite their publicaly (for the most part...) unacceptable vocal style (Screaming and yelling) they, by far, rock hard. If only we had mainstream music this talented... (A pure singing voice would be nice too.)
