Comments about Rock House Lead Guitar-Techniques for Creating Solos, Featuring John McCarthy (DVD):
this dvd is another gem created by the rock house staff!!! I got this one along with modes demystified before i eventually got the rusty cooley fretboard autopsy dvds once i knew the basics, and Im really glad I did. This dvd covers alot of different aspects to playing leads and different techniques and scales. someone who has never tried to play a lead in their life will gain much from this program as it starts at the very basics of lead and covers some very advanced techniques more towards the end. Like I said i got this one AND modes demystified at the same time and the two of them together give you a really good understanding of lead guitar and different ways to approach it as well as knowledge of the fretboard you will carry on for the rest of your life as a musician.
