Comments about Suzuki Modern Classroom Recorder:
This is the recorder method for teachers who need LOTS of individual music for their students. Each new note/symbol/concept is taught through multiple songs, which span from beginning note-reading to "octave+ range with leaps" songs. It contains folk, world, and holiday music, as well as classic excerpts.
Modern Classroom Recorder is a method book, and as such tends to lack color and visual appeal. If your students require stimuli (because, for some reason, the recorder in their hands is not enough), then perhaps this is not the best choice.
Great for classrooms where guided individual musicianship is explored and group musicianship is begun!
