The popular design of the Stradivarius Series is combined with the #43 taper bell that has a slower taper to produce a brighter sound that is more brilliant and open than the standard #37 taper. The 180S43 also features a #25 standard leadpipe that offers some resistance that is effective in centering tone production. These two features combine to produce a trumpet that is well suited for jazz.

This instrument is truly lovely! The tone is very beautiful and clear in quality. It sometimes has a sharp sound, but it is never crass sounding. I love this trumpet!
(I did not buy from this company, but I can assure you that this horn is amazing)

Very solid horn. Very responsive, valves lightning fast (using Hetman's synthetic), slots very well in high registers and keeps good tone. Nice change in tone using deep cup MPs (full, rich tone) and shallower MPs (bright, edgy sound).
Definitely sad to read other review. Suggest customers look past the problems of a shipping/delivery company and focus on the product and results. No regrets, great horn.

When I got it yesterday and got it out of the box i noticed there was a knick in the third valve.When i tried to move it.... It was jammed. The pearl button on the second valve had a bit taken out of it. and the thing that keeps the third vavle from coming of got stuck when i tried to move it. It also had minor scratches. Now i have to send it back to get another one.
