I purchased this trumpet about a month ago and could not be happier with its results. I am a high school band student who who will be entering college as a music major next fall and this trumpet is definately worth it. I would reccomend, however, getting some custom work done to the trumpet once your recieve it. I had some porting done to myne as i dont like to have a lot of resistance on my horn- but that is all personal preference. This is 100% worth it.
brightest trumpet I've ever played, maybe too bright. The real problem is with the finish. I have some bubbles in the finish on the tuning slide and the finish is coming off on the lead pipe where I don't even touch and also on the third valve where I do put a lot of wear but.....? I haven't really had it that long.
I made all-state with this trumpet. Its by far the best horn i've ever played on. Even professionals that have played on it have said it's very free and it has awesome resonance. The reverse leadpide is the best part of the horn. I've only ever seen 2 others, very hard to find and is comparable to the Mount Vernon edition.
This is one of the best horns ever made. I'm 17, and Saturday i have all-state tryouts and i have one of these horns. I've been told by professionals that this was the best horn they've ever played on. Worth the money, promise. The air through the leadpide is so smooth. Reverse leadpide makes a huge difference. Thanks
