Something to consider.....

Comments about K&M 15270B Trombone Stand:

The stand is okay. Reasonably stable, very compact. The screw threads are wearing a bit after a year and a few months. The issue I have with this stand is that it doesn't allow your instrument to dry out in the case. Without running a cloth through your horn after each play it will red rot the instrument. I suppose we all should be going through this routine (faithfully drying all interior surfaces) after each time we play but..(are we always that disciplined)? I do not store this in-the-bell any longer and carry it like a regular stand. In my opinion, there are better options.

Comments about K&M 15270B Trombone Stand:

I've had the stand for about half a year now. I was satisfied for the most part except for the fact that it tends to rust because it spends so much time in a damp trombone bell (didn't K&M think of that?). Then just the other day one of the legs completely broke off while holding my trombone, causing the instrument to crash to the ground, leaving a large dent in the slide. Basically I recommend people stay away from this, price is way to expensive for such a shoddy product
