An especially accommodating trumpet for the beginning student.
Key of Bb. .460 bore, 5" bell, adjustable 3rd valve slide with finger ring, nickel double water keys, brass lacquer finish. Includes a 7C brass mouthpiece and a deluxe wood case with protective metal corners and plush lining. The Kolhert 410L trumpet is a very basic student model whose chief attribute is affordability.
It lacks a regal, singing tone, but at the rank beginner stage of the process of learning, that isn't necessarily a huge factor. It is mechanically sound, shiny and new, and your student will be proud to own it. He or she will feel good about practice, rehearsal and performance, and it is mechanically sound. You'll probably want to step up by high school, but as a beginning instrument, it is more than fine.

Seriously thanks guys @ MF...You guys sold me a great trumpet at a very nice value...Not to mention this trumpet was Miles Davis's first also. I have had it for 6 months now and I already can play it as if I am whistling. The sound is great, from low tunes to high, it is a bargain for any level of trumpet player. Keep it clean and it is super. Also, I recomend the "Kelly Screamer" to anyone who needs a little help with the glass breaker tunes. Man, this is...I mean, well, I'm speechless now. Thanks Guys! I will now invent a new sound of music, look for FM Live soon!
yeah i got this trupet and its bad. The vaules has plastic that keeps the values working and if those pieces of plastic move then your Kolhert trumpet turns into a piece of garbage you don't want to spend your money on it Parents please dont' spend your money on this trumpet please becuse you may not like the results.
this trumpet is really good I just experinced a long delay time like an entire week. It has really nice sound to it you may need to put some valuve oil on the valves but its better than my conn rosebrass director.
This trumpet is amazing i have never had any problems with it and the valves work fine. I have owned this trumpet for almost a year now, this trumpet is cheap in price but not in quality. It's a snap to tune. Like other trumpets i've played some have alittle extra buzz to it, this one does not give any extra buss what so ever. I would reccomend this for anyone, buy this trumpet. You will not regret it!!
I bought this as a beginner instrument for My 12 year old Son. This instrument is a total waste of money. The valves stick constantly and in less than a year have become so corroded the horn is unplayable. And that in spite of daily use of proper valve oil and expert care. Save yourself the trouble. Spend more money and get a quality instrument. This one is garbage.
This is a really nice trumpet for what you pay for it. It has really nice sound, but a little extra buzz on the tuning slide. Overall a good trumpet
