    Years of making custom French horn mouthpieces for players from around the world has helped determine what players want and need to make a difference in their sound. These features are now available to all players in the form of the Laskey standard product line of French horn mouthpieces.

    The Laskey standard French horn mouthpiece line features a unique rim contour. There is definition to the inside diameter and yet the roundness of the rim shape allows for easy movement, as well as a high degree of control and flexibility.


    French Horn Mouthpiece Specifications:

    • 70E: A deeper cup mouthpiece, ideal on both low and high parts for players using an 8D style horn.
    • 70F: A richer texture and a slightly rounder sound. For players who have tried the 70G but seek a warmer sound. Compare to a Reynolds 6C or Holton MDC.
    • 70G: The first of our designs. For those who play a "Farkas"-style mouthpiece--an ideal selection. Compare to a Schilke 30.

      I'm a band director, and I make all my students who play French horn buy this mouthpiece. it is a little bigger so it's not as tight on your lips and it adds a great rich sound to the horn. this is the mouthpiece I use.
