Comments about Perantucci Tuba Mouthpieces:
Excellent mouthpiece. Upgraded from the standard Conn Helleberg mouthpiece and I noticed a huge difference not in tone, but in flexibility. The only complain I have is that my particular mouthpiece was stained with a few blackish/brown spots (reminds me of iodine), but nothing serious.
Worth the money though.

Comments about Perantucci Tuba Mouthpieces:
I bought the Perantucci Pt-50. No matter what tuba I use this mouthpiece on, the tone is amazing, MUCH better than the Bach 18 I've been using. The lows (especially pedal tones) are amazingly full on this mouthpiece. Keep in mind I bought the Pt-50, so buying one of the deeper, bigger mouthpieces will increase that. What really amazes me though are the highs. My Bach limited me to Fs on the staff if I wanted it to come out right, but I can go up to the C above Bb on the staff now, and still get good tone. It is a deep cup mouthpiece, so unless you have strong air support, I wouldn't use this as a beginner mouthpiece, but if you do have strong air support, or you're a more intermediate or professional player, this is a GREAT mouthpiece. I probably will not buy another mouthpiece throughout my whole career on tuba.
Pros
- Easy To Play
- Good Response
- Rich Sound
Cons
Best Uses
- Good For A Big Horn
Comments about Perantucci Tuba Mouthpieces:
Good for a player with good control. It will allow you to play in the low register easily but is open as well in the upper register.
