Sonare trumpets are among the best values available in professional quality horns. Try a blindfold test against trumpets half again as expensive, and you might be surprised. The 2013 addition to the Sonare line of fine trumpets is the TRB-802. The TRB-802R is identical to the TRB-802, only with a reversed leadpipe.
Sonare is the professional division of Blessing's brass designs. In producing the Sonare TRB-802, Sonare has brought together numerous complimentary technologies that have combined into a magnificent instrument.
They enlisted the expertise of J. Fred Powell for his legendary leadpipes. This free blowing and in tune leadpipe features an even tone and response throughout the range of the horn.
The patented, MicroLok adjustable valve guides assure the correct rotational alignment of pistons to slide tubing. Correct rotational alignment improves response and clarity of tone.
Cryogenic treatment stress relieves metal, which enhances colors and reduces or eliminates dead spots. Sonare's new bell blank is closer to the final shape of the bell so that the thickness throughout is more uniform, while still being hand hammered. The higher precision of the bell thickness creates better timbral balance.
Valve casings are soldered using a highly precise soldering fixture to assure proper position of valve casings and knuckles. The result? Precise slide alignment which improves response and intonation. Sonare's hand-operated, vertical lapping system uses gravity to produce precision valve fits, which are more efficient at converting your air input into acoustical output.
Sonare Pro Brass has partnered with the industry's best craftsmen and performers to bring you the ultimate in quality design and performance. The exclusive Sonar MicroLok Valve System revolutionizes valve alignment. All Sonare instruments are cryogenically treated. These features result in free-blowing instruments, appropriate for both ˜legit' and commercial playing with impeccable intonation and response.
There are some manufacturers that may have the color and sound you are looking for, but lack the intonation or response, while others have great intonation and response but lack ˜soul'. Sonare has taken the time and effort to make the most in-tune, colorful, free blowing and responsive instruments so you can focus on what is important¦.the music!
