I was worried that the case would be heavy, but it isn't that bad. Built to protect the horn well and provide a good backpack carrying case for a fixed-bell horn. All the extras (straps, mouthpiece holder) were included. Would recommend (if you don't mind the price).

This is a very durable and high quality case. It is made of high quality material and is well-constructed. There are plenty of pockets and compartments for everything. The sheet music compartment on the side doesn't hold much larger than your average 8.5/11" paper, however.
The backpack straps were one of the biggest points that drew me to this case, and they did not disappoint. They are better backpack straps than what I normally see on most backpacks! They can be hard to use at first, but some adjusting will make them much more comfortable. The chest strap is a great addition not seen on the backpack straps of Marcus Bonna cases that makes it easier to put 15-20 pounds on your back. Overall, they improve the ease of transport massively, and I could see myself walking to and from school (about 9km total) whenever needed with this case.
The only downside is that it is heavier than other gig bags (or some cases?) that you might see on the market, however you would have to either sacrifice durability and quality to get a lighter case, or cut your french horn bell and reduce the amount you would get from selling it in order to get a cut-bell case, which would undoubtedly be lighter.
Overall, this is an excellent case that is durable and protective that comes with excellent backpack straps to help you go anywhere with your instrument and whatever accessories you might need with you. Would recommend.
