Comments about WolfPak Trumpet and Flugelhorn Case:
needs to be redesigned by a mechanically adept trumpet player
Comments about WolfPak Trumpet and Flugelhorn Case:
There are no descriptions on how to use the inside packing to accomodate a trumpet and a flugel. No pictures, nada. How are we to quess the best way to use this case. I am good with spatial placement but I can't get this one.
Comments about WolfPak Trumpet and Flugelhorn Case:
I use it for a Shilke trumpet and a Bobby Shew Flugel, it accomodates both instruments quite well,
although I would prefer something designed specifically for both instruments, I realise this is impossible. As a compromise it works OK, definitely better than a gig bag that damages both horns. One significant drawback is there is no room for mutes when both horns are in the case/bag meaning I have to usually carry a music stand, trumpet case and mute bag. I know it's a minor annoyance, but sometimes it means an extra trip to the car.
It does what it claims, and protects both horns.
After importing to Australia with freight, it was significantly more expensive than your catalogue price. Having said that, the delivery time was excellent, I ordered it on Thursday, it arrived on the following Tuesday; on the other side of the world - well done!
Comments about WolfPak Trumpet and Flugelhorn Case:
The description of this gig bag/case is deceiving. It does not fit a trumpet and flugelhorn- it does fit 2 trumpets, 1 mute, and small accessories. There is plenty of room in the outside pocket for a real book and additional accessories, but it tends to get front heavy and the little legs that is intended to stabilize it is inadequate-the whole case tips over. It is also a little difficult to zip up when closing the case. Don't expect to have any sort of fitted compartment to hold a trumpet and a flugel. This is more like a carry-on luggage with a one piece one inch thick padding. Its like packing clothes, except you're packing your horns. The wheels are not very stable when pulling.
Comments about WolfPak Trumpet and Flugelhorn Case:
After a few tries, I realized that this case will not hold a trumpet and a kanstul flugel horn. Besides that it is a sturdy and well built bag.
