I got this for my daughter so she could practice without feeling like she is annoying anyone. As you may know the Euphonium has a beautiful sound but is very loud. This really works. You can hear the instrument if you are near by but it is very soft. She can hear it clearly through the electronics. Problem solved and now she practices more and is getting better.

Its useful and a novel idea if you have the money to burn.
The idea of a "silent" mute that broadcasts your sound is a great idea, however the technology has a long way to go.
It is not poor quality, but I do not see it lasting more than a few years.
Im not sure what part of this product is so valuable. A more reasonable price would be a little less for what you get.
