This bass trombone is what I would call a masterpiece. The gold brass gives it a nice dark, rich tone quality, which is what every bass trombone should sound like. The valve caps are another feature I like personaly because they get the pedal note MUCH faster. The removable slide on the D slide makes removing spit easier as well. If you are a student musician or a professional looking for a new instrument, STOP SEARCHING!!!!!!
