YHR-667VSL French Horn

By Richard in NC

from North Carolina

Comments about Yamaha YHR-667VSL Synphony Geyer Series Double French Horn:

The Yamaha 667VSL is lightweight and comfortable to hold and play. Valve action (including that of the change valve with its long linkage) is quiet and smooth. Response is even throughout all the registers. Once the slides are properly adjusted, intonation is excellent. The upper register is very stable. Tone quality is clean and clear and can be quite assertive. Although this is a Geyer-type horn, it is similar in many ways to the Alexander 103 which I played in college.
