I played horn in high school 1st chair & haven't played since and that's been 15 years ago. I searched all over for a horn that would give me everything I always wanted in a horn back then & now & I've found it. I admit I'm a bit rusty but the sound & tone are amazing. The F side of the horn plays with ease and is a bit softer than the B flat side so when changing between the two be aware of your dynamics. I've played on many different horns before including a conn other yamahas and another maker the school had I don't recall by far this horn has the richest sound and plays with great ease. Also if you've ever had difficulty in the lower registers this horn may be the answer. Definitely a great investment for any horn player looking for a top quality horn at a reasonable price. I can't wait to keep playing so I can update you as I get to know it better. You truly get a professional quality horn at an intermediate price.Great Value!!

I am a horn major at Western Carolina University, and this is is absolutely amazing. I just got it yesterday, and I can hardly put it down. Exceptional tone and it looks beautiful too. I definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a professional horn.
