Just a few comments for those of you who might be like me: A relative beginner to the trombone, older adult, who plays other instruments and looking to expand musical ability. This horn is immaculate and is stowed in a very tidy and well-built case. It came with everything I needed to start up so I didn't have to run to a music store for slide cream or the like.It was easily put together and I made effortless sounds on it, and all in tune!A great beginner horn and one I'll have for many years. I lean towards R&B and Jazz so this shoe fits well.My local music stores offered similar trombones but they tried to sell them to me looking and smelling like 500 people had played them before I got there - Even the cases were dirty.I appreciate the efforts of MF and Yamaha for delivering a thoughtfully presentable and tidy instrument! For me, I have no reason to shop at my local stores when MF delivers such fine service; thanks for that.
I picked up mine gratis to try out and was pleasantly surprised. The finish on this horn is superior to my Bachs, though lacks a bit darkness in tone as compared to them. It slots well and is easy-to-play. This is a good jazz horn and reminds me of the Bach 16LT.
