I went into my local guitar shop to play an Ibanez I had my eyes on for a while. After talking with the sales associate, he pulled down the Breedlove Black Magic, told me to have a seat in one of the back rooms and have fun. He said it would be the last guitar I would ever buy again. It was about $200 over what I was looking into paying but he was right, it will be the only guitar I own for a while and will be the one I have forever. When I had only gone in to look at a few guitars with NO intention of buying, I walked out with this beauty. I haven't regretted my decision ever since. The price difference between what I was looking to spend and what I actually spent was worth every penny.
I was about to buy the taylor 214ce. But after I have tried this guitar, this guitar gives more low sound with a balance of mid and high sound, while the taylor doesn't give enough low sound. I love this guitar and I have never regret it. The looks and the sounds is just incredible.
I was thinking about a Martin guitar itially, soon after that one of my friends suggested thid breedlove ac25 "Black Magic",played it and next thing I,am doing is taking a long lunch home with a special guitar.Truly cool and still fishman turner built inside, nice and abalone purfling mahogany back and options like brialliance, treble, middle and bass adjustable settings.I love it and was in a better bracket second to none.Try it out man, you'll see what I mean.It fits me well.
After trying many acoustics including Taylor, Martin, Larivee and Takamine (Gibson is way out of my price range) I stumbled across the Breedlove AC/25CM Black Magic. I had my heart set on a Larivee, but someone beat me to the punch. Depressed, the sales guy recommended the Breedlove ... needless to say, I was overly impressed at the tone and action on the guitar. Honestly I would have expected to pay a lot more. Additionally, the case is very, very nice.
Ok, me being the kind of person who 'goes with the flow' when it comes to guitars and really anything else.If you talk guitars (acoustic) the top 2 names that come to mind are Taylor and Martin Co.I was at a guitar retailer for 2 hours looking for a prospective new guitar in the $1000-2000 range.and after playing nothing but Taylors and Martins for an hour and a half, the sales associate comes in with this brand new sleek + sexy Black guitar. He tells me this is their newest addition, and also tells me about the Mohagany, rosewood, and cedar construction.I picked it up.and It melted into my fingers.I would say that it comparatively plays like a Taylor 700 series.the tone isn't like your typical Martin (a bit bass centered)but more like a taylor (crisp and midrange centered)just play it!You won't regret it!
