OVERVIEW

Winner of a "Best in Show" at Summer NAMM 2009, the Grip Clip prevents the inadvertent unplugging of guitars, basses, and other strap-worn instruments. By clipping high upon any size strap behind the player's back, the On-Stage Stands Grip Clip allows you to create a wide, gentle loop (make it as small or large as you want which reduces stress on both the strap and input jack while simultaneously reducing and protecting against the likelihood of a stepped on or snagged cable, and even kinking. The cable itself is attached to the cable clip via a snap-in channel sized to accommodate all popular instrument cables. It also acts as a breakaway cable so you don't have to worry about yanking your cable out of your instrument during intense performances.

The On-Stage Stands Grip Clip is an exciting product designed for guitar players by guitar players, and fits seamlessly into any player's routine.

This guitar breakaway cable clip ensures you never go unplugged when you don't want to.

Comments about On-Stage Stands Grip Clip:

If you're a tangle foot like me you've stepped on your cord and yanked it from the plug on the guitar. I've had a couple of plugs repaired and then I bought one of these. It's easy to use and works well as long as you don't take it on and off all the time.

I was bad about changing straps and had to change my clip. It's plastic and after a few strap changes it broke. This time I bought enough for each strap.

Short of buying a cordless set up, which is expensive, this is a great tool for your gig bag.

Comments about On-Stage Stands Grip Clip:

I use it just to clip the cord to strap without using the actual cord clip on the front , trying to decide if it is any better than running the guitar cord through the strap , like I and every one else does , it could be redesigned and could be a good devise . Some thing that does this function is needed but I have not found it yet

Comments about On-Stage Stands Grip Clip:

Plastic clip that has a channel to snap your cable into. The clip snaps open to attach to your strap. This keeps your cable behind you and prevents you from accidentally pulling your cable out damaging the cable or jack.

This clip works like it suppose to, keeps the cords from getting yanked out by stepping on them or getting them wrapped up in others as you enjoy the music. I gave them to my freinds and they love them too. No more tying knots in your cords to protect your axe.(I am kinda exubrent when the groove gets good so it works great for me.)

This device is simple, but does what it is supposed to do.

Tried another type of strap lock design, but I like this version the best for my application (especially if you are using the same guitar strap for different guitars).

                    Exactly What I Needed

Comments about On-Stage Stands Grip Clip:

I play alot of gigs that requires I use In Ear Monitors. I've always hardwired in because I don't feel like spending the money on a wireless system (yet). The clips fit perfectly on my guitar strap and keep the excess wire from pulling on my IEMs.

                    Inexpensive and it works

Comments about On-Stage Stands Grip Clip:

I bought a set of these clips for each of my electric guitars' straps (grew tired of stepping on the cable and nearly pulling out the plug). The clips are simple to use, with the only difficulty being that you have to work a little to get the cable in the retaining channel. This is good, however, as once it is in the cable is not coming out easily.

The only down-side with these clips is that the hinge is just the crease where the two halves of the clip are folded over. I've been using mine for over a year now with no sign of any tearing, though, so I'm not worried about them breaking. And hey, for such a low price I ordered a couple of back-ups just in case.
