Who would have thought that capos could make a difference in tone? Welll I didn't. But after giving up my fancy G7 capo, I realized it was damping the sound. The Paige capo opens up the brightness and dynamics of my guitars (a 1926 000-18 and a 1944 00-18). Plus it's easy to store behind the nut without affecting the sound. Reasonably priced, this capo has it all. Also, it is small so doesn't get in the way of your hands. The locking mechanism seems a little flimsy, so we'll see if that affects its longevity. Overall, THE capo to beat.

Comments about Paige 6-String Guitar Capo:

This is an excellent Capo to use if your having problems with notes going sharp. The pressure adjustment is very sensitive and even. It's not clumsy either. However, I find the metal clip annoying. I still prefer the heavy duty spring loaded capo's when not having problems. I use this capo when I need the notes to be more precise up the fret board. It's also not bulky.

This was on back order and the staff was right with me wanting to help in any way they could by offering another product or something simular , I was in no hurry and figgured it weould come some day . The price was right and shipping free so why not wait . I might add it was worth the wait, a well made product at a resonable cost .

Comments about Paige 6-String Guitar Capo:

This is a great capo, and much better than the Paige Clik capo, which has a smaller neck cradle and actually shifts and wiggles if you push or hit it even lightly. Everything on this capo is smooth and solid. I also like that the one I received did not have "PAIGE" written in white on the top, like normally pictured. All black with no advertising is more classy.

I have a Paige capo on one of my other guitars and it works for me so I bought another. Fits right behind the nut when not in use so you don't have to fumble around trying to find it in your pocket. Always there when you need it, quick to put on and you can adjust the tension how you need it.

Allows user to easily set precise tension on strings. Have owned several capos; this one is the best. Can also clamp at nut when not needed.

Comments about Paige 6-String Guitar Capo:

I've been playing over 35 years. The problem I've had with most capos is they don't clamp the strings down tight enough and the strings will buzz. Only one other company made a capo very similar and it went out of business several years ago. This one holds the strings in place, and keeps a great tone. I would recommend this capo to anyone .

Best alternative to the removable capo. I like it because it stays on the neck and you adjust the tension rather than a clamp on style. This is what I grew up with as a "blugrass" capo.
