About Image Line:

There was a time when virtual instruments and tools were exclusive to electronic and techno music. Things have really changed since then, and today, artists from every genre are firing up their digital studios to record and edit tracks. Of course, doing your best work will depend on having the right software to pull it off, and that's where Image Line comes into the picture. When they created the FruityLoops step sequencer in 1997, they laid some revolutionary groundwork that would eventually evolve into the FL Studio workstation you'll find in this section - and that's only the beginning of what Image Line has to offer.

Of course, it's never a bad idea to start from the beginning, so checking out FL Studio is a good first step into this section. Used by artists as influential as Avicii, Afrojack and 9th Wonder, this DAW has plenty of chart-topping tracks to its credit. It's also available in a few different editions, including FL Studio 12 Fruity Loops Edition, FL Studio 12 Producer and FL Studio 12 Signature Bundle, so you can choose the right one for the features you need. Once you've got your FL Studio set up, all you need to do is customize your plug-ins and you'll be well-equipped to produce at a professional level.

Good news: you'll find those plugins right here as well. Image Line's synthesizer plugins, for instance, come in as many varieties as hardware synths. Take a look at Morphine and Ogun if you like your synthesizer additive, or PoiZone if subtractive is more your style. You could even go for both types in a single package with Harmor or Harmless. For live performers, there are some really interesting plugins such as the Hardcore virtual pedalboard or the Groove Machine, which puts samples, loops and patterns at your fingertips.

No matter which software from Image Line meets your needs, you can count on it to live up to the great reputation that they've spent the last 20 years building. Two decades is a lot of experience when it comes to the rapidly-changing world of pro audio electronics, and Image Line is consistently on top of the game. Give FL Studio software a try, and you'll find out firsthand why it's so sought-after.
