The brightest sounding ceramic guitar slide on the market today. Designed for non-electric applications, this slide is for the acoustic player seeking a more traditional feel. This shorty slide was created for Bill Morganfield who usually uses a knuckle slide. Great in standard tuning, it offers more string coverage than a traditional knuckle slide that only covers one or two strings. With the Salidan, you can cover up to four strings.
Light and responsive, the Salidan (Sal-Eye-Den) was designed to "float" on the finger, for quick pickup and quick release. Among the warmest of the Rocky Mountain Slide Company slides. Itill growl when you want it to, or a whisper like a cool breeze.
Handmade for vintage tone.
- Classic ceramic tone
- Approximately 7/8" internal diameter (22-24mm)
A beautiful little slide that gets that 'bottle' sound and feel. Order today!

Comments about Rocky Mountain Slides Ceramic Salidan Guitar Slide:
I have many slides, but all of them seem to have some deficiency. First, this one fits perfectly. I use my ring finger, so it needs to be big but not too big. This one is long enough to cover all strings simultaneously, which fits the style I play. Most importantly, this slide is thick enough to create good sustain, but that doesn't make it so heavy as to be unwieldy (like my brass slide). I don't go for the hollow, slightly deader sound of thinner slides, I like full on sustain, and this gives it to me. It's not as bright as metal slides are, but ceramic still gives a nice sound. All in all, I totally LOVE this slide.
