I really like the Cabasa even though it is less than half the size of the adult version. I have small hands so I thought the child version would work for me. The sound is good but it isn't as easy to move the beads as the larger one.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great instrument

The wood they use for the handle is exceptional... very soft, very pleasant to hold. The sound is great. This is the first instrument to be pulled out of my instrument box during class! A bit pricey, but good quality.
