Rhythm Band's large kokoriko is held in both hands, then played with a slight turning motion of each hand (not simultaneously). Constructed of wooden strips on leather, its sound is reminiscent of a soft cluttering sound. Great for any genre of music it offers you a distinct rhythmic sound.

      Favorite percussion instrument of mine!

Comments about Rhythm Band RB779 Large Kokoriko:

I remembered this instrument from one of my school teachers in the 50's. I loved it then and even more now. It is so easy to play, almost like moving a "slinky" up and down in your two hands. The sounds it makes is similar to a Cajon wash board. I call it my "Clacker" when people ask what it is. Everywhere I play it, people can't help but love it and ask about it. I have never had any negative remarks. It allows you to get creative on your own. By holding one hand firm and moving the other hand (just one end of Clacker) you can really get some good rythms going.
