I got these bells to wear strapped over my hands so as to get their secondary affect while playing my various Native American hand drums... The strap goes across my palm and the bells position perfectly across the back of my hand... Doesn't interfear at all with my playing and I get a great complimentary accent.

As we use the bells for an early childhood program, we need to make sure that babies don't hurt themselves on the lips and tongue when chewing on the bells and that the bells don't come off the velcro. I don't know yet how sturdy they are and if they have sharp edges. I would appreciate a friendlier color than black!!!!

Not the right sound

Comments about Rhythm Band RB811 Wrist or Ankle Jingle Bell:

They do not sound great at all. I wanted that quintessential jingle bell/sleigh bells sound. And these do not sound like that at all. They are very noisy without any richness in tone or timbre. I would have returned them but I lost the receipt.

Comments about Rhythm Band RB811 Wrist or Ankle Jingle Bell:

I'm a music teacher and I use these to teach the children in my class how to follow a beat and really feel it throughout their bodies. They love these and so do I! I like that they are adjustable with the Velcro - definitely made for a child's wrist or ankle and not an adult's.
