Comments about Yamaha YRS-302B Professional Soprano Recorder with Baroque Fingering:

This is probably the best bang for your buck from Yamaha. The intonation is spot on, it has a nice crisp tone to it, and I have had no problems with clogging. I purchased a few inexpensive Soprano recorders to try out, and by far I like this one best. I am re-learning the recorder, so I am by no means an authority. But, having played this and the cheaper YRS-23, this one is far superior. I also ordered the Sopranino and Alto 302's from Yamaha, and can't wait to try them out as well.

Comments about Yamaha YRS-302B Professional Soprano Recorder with Baroque Fingering:

This a very good plastic recorder. It is very durable and the sound is nice. It does not sound as nice as a professional wooden recorder, but it is very good value.

              A great inexpensive option!

Comments about Yamaha YRS-302B Professional Soprano Recorder with Baroque Fingering:

I am learning to play the recorder and I am very pleased with this one. I also purchased a really cheap one for my 3 year old daughter to entertain herself with while I practice. The difference between the two is amazing. You can feel and hear the quality of the Yamaha. I recommend this instrument to anyone wanting nice sound and quality without the high pricetag. Musicians Friend is a great place to purchase your musical supplies. My order arrived very quickly and as described. Thanks

Great recorder for a small price

Comments about Yamaha YRS-302B Professional Soprano Recorder with Baroque Fingering:

This recorder is a great instrument for people starting out on the recorder. I have been playing an Angel student recorder for the past five years. I just bought a Yamaha Professional recorder an am very happy with the quality. It has a much better sound quality than most plastic recorders I've seen. If you are starting out on the recorder or if you want an inexpensive recorder that sounds good, this is the perfect instrument.

Very good quality for the price

Comments about Yamaha YRS-302B Professional Soprano Recorder with Baroque Fingering:

This may not be an exceptionally fine instrument, but far more quality than you would expect at this price. It has much better intonation and tone quality than the other plastic recorders, and comes with a nicer heavy vinyl case.
