Comments about Mapex B990A Combination Boom Stand:

I have a 24" ride and a 18" crash on this stand with no problems. It's completely stable and well worth the money. I tear my set up and down about 4 + nights a week and I purchased my first couple of stands about 10 years ago. I play a small 4pc to a large 20+ pc and I never have a problem with them reaching were I need my cymbals to be. There as strong today as the day thatI purchased them on. you will never have to buy another stand again.

Comments about Mapex B990A Combination Boom Stand:

I have a 20" ride and an 18" crash on this sucker and it works just fine. Not sure what the earlier post was referring to but i love this stand. I'm debating buying another to replace some lesser quality booms i'm currently using.

best deal you can get

Comments about Mapex B990A Combination Boom Stand:

It may be expensive, but it is the most sturdiest piece of drumming equipment I have used...i have a 16" crash..with a 4" stacker with a 8" splash on one arm, and on the other I have another 16" crash stacked with a 12" china..and it hasn't budged or wobbled yet..it's an outstanding cymbal stand. well worth the money! if you have it, don't be afraid to spend it on this!

Comments about Mapex B990A Combination Boom Stand:

Dude! This stand blows...12in booms are way to short to get big cymbals into were you need to het them... This stand would be great if you want to put up cup chimes or splash cymbals but do yourself a favor a buy dw... you'r gonna thank me when you do...
