Modeled on the legendary UREI LA-2A electro-optical tube compressor, the Waves CLA-2A plug-in emulates the originalâs smooth, frequency-dependent behaviors that have made it a favorite of engineers everywhere. Comments about Waves CLA-2A Native:
I do EDM. For me I can use this on vocals to achieve that creamy but distinct and a little gritty radio vocal sound. Seems limited in EDM to just vocals but but if you want a not so precise sound you could add it for a saturated sound to stuff. For EDM probably not though. Really tones things down.
I'm not sure but my hunch is that it could probably be used all around on a earthy rock track.
Great vocal sound well worth the money. I can use it as many times as I want. Incredible.
