Overview
Cymbal mallets are available in two distinctly different models: Symphonic Articulation (61124) and Symphonic Crescendo (61125). Both models include professional rattan handles and woven heads. The Crotale Mallets are available in two sizes and include black birch handles and white phenolic balls in either 7/8" (61127) or 1" (61126) diameter.
Specs
Cymbal And Crotale Mallets 61124 Symphonic Articulation Specifications:
- Fortissimo (61126) For Crotales: Larger of the two versions and produces a slightly stronger fundamental tone and greater volume
- Mezzoforte (61127) For Crotales: Produces a less penetrating tone when striking a crotale with the same velocity as the Fortissimo version
- Symphonic Articulation (61124): Slightly smaller and harder head for accents or passages which require striking a suspended cymbal in rapid succession
- Symphonic Crescendo (61125): Softer and produce a smooth crescendo at any volume without hearing each stroke
