These sticks the best option for students. They are highly durable, I had the same pair throughout middle school. I wouldn't exactly recommend for drum set, but works great for snare and is  thick enough to be used for cowbell, temple blocks, and other common percussion instruments.

LOVE THESE STICKS!

First started using these back in High School, mainly for snare drum in Concert Band. Since then I've incorporated them into my set playing and these are really my favorite sticks to play with. I can't stand how light sticks break so easily and don't feel like I'm really hitting the drums with anything. With these, they're nice and thick and really hit hard, which is nice when you're playing a lot of metal/heavier beats. If you're playing Jazz or any form of light, pianissimo-esque music on a set then you may as well hit that back button on your internet browser and look for another set of sticks. These are great for dynamic snare, and heavy set playing, though. Love them, love them, love them. Only sticks I ever buy anymore!
