Great mallets!

Features:

I have all of the mallets in this series except for the T5 Wood mallets, and they're awesome. The T6 Custom General mallets are great for loud rolls and Sforzando's. The T2 Cartwheel mallets are nice for soft rolls. The T4 Ultra Staccato mallets are really good for fast passages where you need lots of articulation. The T3 Staccato mallets are great general mallets. You shouldn't buy the T1 General mallets, because, despite their name, they're pretty useless. I've had them for months, and I've literally never found a part for which they're suitable.

Quality:

The sound of the mallets is great considering how inexpensive they are.

Value:

These are great mallets for the price. The only thing I don't like about them is that the shafts of the mallets are relatively short, but you get used to it after awhile.

Overall:

If the mallets are treated right, they will last for a long time. For them to last long, you need to save the plastic bags that they come in, and always keep the mallets in the bags when you're not using them. Also, when there is stray felt on the heads of the mallets, cut them off with scissors. Otherwise more felt will get pulled off of the mallet heads

T1-T6

Features:

They are -in my opinion- some good mallets for intermediate players begining to play more complex music. I play in a symphony and the only ones i use in the series are the T3 and T6. All of them play good on anything

Quality:

If you take care of them properly they will last a very long time. I have had mine since i have started my music career and they last a while.

Overall:

Most of the mallets in this series are a good overall mallet. They give real nice hits on the timpani and last a long time.

Nice Mallets

Overall:
These mallets sound great, have a nice feel, and are durable. They are perfect for the aspiring percussionist. I'd recommend the "staccato" model as a first pair. The "cartwheels" and "generals" have very little articulation, and are unsuited for most timpani parts. The "t-4 ultra staccato" is great for toms or multi-percussion
